University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center students (in Oklahoma City or Tulsa) participating in clinical learning environments are encouraged to have coverage for needlestick injuries. Students who do not have needlestick coverage on their current health coverage may purchase this on a stand-alone basis. If you are enrolling in the OUHSC Student Health Coverage through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, this benefit is included and does not have to be purchased separately.
